Camping and The End of The World!

First time in a while that I was able to remember enough of my dreams to be able to write them down.

First one was of me backpacking through some wilderness somewhere. I had very basic essentials with me but no water. I never mentioned food, so I assume that I had plenty with me. Most of the dream involved me finding various water sources and purifying them some how so I could drink it.

Second one was an End of the World type adventure. I don't know what event happened that caused it, but the world was in apocalypse style mode. I don't think it was zombies. Anyway, my girlfriend and I were driving along a river when something huge dropped in, creating a big shockwave/wave that traveled along the river getting bigger and bigger. It felt like a chase scene. When it reached shore, it began to flood the nearby towns. For some reason, we had to abandon our car, and we began to search for a new car. I really wanted to find a truck. All the places we searched had either dinosaur or Native-American styled cars and houses and trucks. Right as we found a truck that worked and was in good condition, I woke up.

Tyson on a Boat

Dreamt I was on a large tanker-style boat in the middle of a big stormy ocean at night. A bunch of friends from school were around and they were panicking. I searched the top of the ship, and found that there was a giant Mike Tyson monster on board. I grabbed a knife and a metal bat and started fighting the monster and leading it towards another boat that was passing by. I knocked the monster onto the other boat, then sped our ship away, saving us all.

Run

This one started with me in the foyer/entrance room of some big building. I didn't know where I was or why I was there, I just knew I needed to get away from someone/something.

So I started running. It took me a while to get going, but after a minute or so, I was doing all sorts of Parkour/Free Running moves all over this building. I was sliding on rails, doing flips, running on walls, and eventually I made my way to the top of the building, jumped to the next one, then made my way down. It ended with me running through the foyer of this new building, then jumping through the window to escape.

Death

This one played out like I was living through a I Am Legend type of scenario. I was the last man (as far as I knew) alive on earth, and living in some city. It kind of reminded me of the UC Santa Barbara campus.

Anyway, one day I turned a corner, and saw some big trucks and cars coming down the road. When I realized they were people, I became super excited, and invited them all into my city to hang out and have a party. I forget what tipped me off, but I eventually realized that they were just carriers for the zombie disease. They started turning, and then their leader led me to a jail to hold me until they were ready to feast. The last thing I remember before jumping awake was wanting to run out and save my girlfriend, but realizing that she was already dead, and that I wasn't there to help her.

I'm good at sports??

First one involved me going through multiple video games. Many of them were shooters like Goldeneye.

Second one I was playing soccer with a bunch of people from school. For no explainable reason. I was really good. I scored two goals and was able to do front flips.

A bit of a lot

First one I remember, I'm part of a family (not mine. The Simpsons, I believe) getting ready for a trip, when this guy that looks and talks like a mixture of Charles Manson and Alan Moore comes in and started harassing us.

Then It jumped to being in a car (with different people) and we were driving around. We passed by a KFC, and I made a joke about black people liking fried chicken.

Then it jumped to some Star Trek convention. Apparently we were all there (I was dressed as Kirk) to see a free screening of the new movie. Some guy explained the general plot, then began to teach us some of the Vulcan sign language.

Buyin Comics

For the majority of the dream, I was completely invisible, except for the purple and red crocs that I was wearing. So I took the crocs off, and went inside the nearest comic store and help myself to plenty of merchandise. Then as I was leaving, Darth Vader and The Emperor landed their TIE Fighter outside and started to walk in.

Costco Sells Lingerie?

For the most part, this one involved walking around some place that reminded me of Costco, and helping my girlfriend pick out new lingerie. They were mostly tasteful and good looking, except for a couple weird ones that had things like wings or intricate designs woven into them. Part way through, we ran into one of my classmates. I stepped away to look at something for a moment, and when I turned around, I saw him feel up my girlfriend, and it was obvious she did not like it. I charged over there, grabbed him by the throat and told him in a not to nice way that if he did it again or came anywhere near my girlfriend, I would kill him.

Then it kinda jumped to me and my girlfriend sitting on a beach cuddling while "Invincible" by Muse played.

Warcraft and School

First One:

All I remember is playing Warcraft III, except with Warcraft II graphics

Second One:

Another one that was kinda close to real life. I remember getting ready for school, except I was back home in Santa Rosa. There was some project that I needed to do for school, and I was running way behind. My cat had just rubbed up against me, so I was trying to get all her hair off of my clothes, when it suddenly started to get all tangled in my hair. Right before I woke up, I was trying to comb the cat hair out, when I noticed that I was about to be late to school.

Save the babies!

Can't remember much of it.

I do remember though that it had something to do with me trying to save a bunch of babies from some evil cats, before they could either eat them, or sell them off into slavery.

Punching Things is Fun

(Late Post)

Took place in some kind of lab or hospital to begin with. Was running around making deals and talking to people, and occasionally punching people in the face or punching computers. Then I walked through a door into a butcher shop, where I punched more things I think, then ran away from some people. (zombies)?

More Clowning in The Office

The first one I don't really remember much, except it had to do with military stuff witha lot of enemies, which was probably influenced by playing so much Resident Evil 5 right before bed. haha.

The main one I don't remember much about either, except that it involved The Office, except there were clowns involved, and some kind of shrewd business deal that Oscar was working on.

Weirdest Hike Ever

It started with me hiking along some trail that felt like it was in NorCal. I was heading downhill, and I eventually came into a clearing, after passing by what looked like an Old Timey Wild West town. I ran up a hill with a bunch of planter boxes, which I lightly ran over the tops of like a ninja.

Then I saw a big black duck sliding itself along the ground on its belly with its legs bent funny. As it went along, it left a big black line of paint behind it, as it went towards another Wild West style town. Somehow I recognized this as an excellent way to get movie scripts, then started running back the way I came, passing by old people hiking, until I started getting dehydrated. I then woke up.

???

I've forgotten some of this because I'm writing this down late, but I could hardly remember it all when I first woke up.

There was a lot of driving down the highway, sometimes on the wrong side of the street. I got to a convention hall, where I met up with my old high school choir, then my old Boy Scout troop and signed up with the Army from the 1920s. There were doughnuts and coffee involved somehow, and I was flirting with everyone.

A Link to the Office

Dreamt I was Link, from The Legend of Zelda series. I was running around Hyrule fighting monsters and exploring dungeons. I was accompanied by Andy from The Office, who held some of my gear/maps, and occasionally did some puzzle solving of monster fighting. Along the way I met some people that I eventually convinced to work for me, and ran around doing some of the smaller jobs and errands while I focused on the larger dungeons and bad guys. I haven't played Zelda in a little while, but I think reading Sun Tzu's The Art of War, right before bed might have influenced the dream a bit, at least from a battle perspective. Throughout the dream, I was using strategy and planning, instead of blind rage and attacking, which is usually how I play Zelda games.

Macbeth Continued

Went back to bed, and had another dream.

This one involved Macbeth again, but this time I think I was actually Macbeth. Most of it involved playing Street Fighter (some newer version. IV I think) for my life. I was Chun-Li, and the other guy (Macduff I'm guessing) was Zangief. We played very well and went down to the final seconds of the final round. I eventually lost, and my head was chopped off. Instead of blood and guts and whatnot, my head was revealed to be a giant head-shaped Cadbury Egg, which Lady Macbeth (played by my girlfriend), proceeded to carry around in her arms along what looked like The Great Wall of China

Old Enemies

Don't remember much about this one, but I do remember that it involved some people that were particularly asshole-y to me during high school. From what I remember, it involved me telling those people that I don't give a shit about them, and that there was nothing they could do to have any kind of impact on me, then walking away. It felt good.

Also, I can't be sure, but I have this weird feeling that it involved zombies somehow...but I'm not certain...

Too close to reality

Had one of those dreams where I went through my morning routine, as if I was actually awake. Everything was there, in excruciating detail: the way I wake up, toss around a bit, then fall back asleep. It was so realistic, that when I actually did wake up, I was really confused and thought that I was maybe dreaming again.

Lady Macbeth?

A weird start to the blog:

Started out with some random ones I can't quite remember. From what I can recall, it seemed to be some movie or video game based ones. I think I remember Resident Evil, something like Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and the diving competition sequence from Back To School, though I didn't get to do the Triple Lindy. There was also a sequence where I ran through a blue lit locker room where there were no real toilets, only drains, and shower heads were coming out of the lockers. Also, everything was covered in soap scum.

The main one was weird. I watched it from a third-person perspective, as if I was watching a play. My "character" reminded me of Lady Macbeth. Can't really explain why other than she/I was scheming something. Ha ha. Anyway, it ended with my twin and her son catching me, then putting me in an interesting guillotine contraption. They drew four cards, and it looked like depending on what the cards were, that determined at what angle they sliced my head off. I drew two aces, a square and a cone. I woke up before the blade dropped. Didn't wake up completely scared, but instead, a bit confused.
